Troy Hart joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1997. He is licensed and actively practicing in Georgia, Tennessee Kentucky and Montana. He has tried cases in civil court with regard to personal injury, contract, commercial and insurance defense, professional liability, and in administrative court regarding workers’ compensation matters. He has been involved in countless depositions, mediations, and hearings. His field of concentration is in Civil Litigation, Workers’ Compensation Defense, Professional Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Tors, Real Estate litigation, Commercial Real Estate transactions, Contracts, Estate Planning and Probate litigation. Troy is the managing partner of the Knoxville, Tennessee office.
Born in Evansville, Indiana, September 16, 1967, Troy was admitted into the Georgia Bar in 1997, into the Tennessee Bar in 2003, into the Kentucky Bar in 2011, and into the Montana Bar in 2023. He is also admitted to the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, Supreme Court of Tennessee, Middle District of Tennessee, Eastern District of Tennessee, Tennessee Supreme Court Judicial Department, and Supreme Court of Kentucky. He received his B.S. (1990) in Criminal Justice from Auburn University and his M.S. (1993) in Criminal Justice & Public Safety from Auburn University at Montgomery. He received his JD (1997) from the Thomas Cooley Law School. Troy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of Tennessee, the State Bar of Kentucky and the State Bar of Montana.
Troy lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a member of First Baptist Concord and enjoys the outdoors and being involved in community activities, including coaching little league baseball, softball and basketball.
