Hannah Turner joined Moore, Ingram, Johnson, & Steele in October 2023 as an associate attorney in the Workers Compensation department. She was also a summer associate at MIJS during the summer of 2023.

Hannah was born in Powder Springs, GA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from Georgia Southern University.  Hannah earned her Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

During law school, Hannah was a research assistant for Professor Melissa T. Lonegrass and an Obligations Tutor for Professor Olivier Moreteau. She received CALI awards for Obligations and Immigration Law. She also served as the Production Editor for the LSU Journal for Social Justice and Policy Volume III.

Hannah was heavily involved in LSU’s Advocacy Programs. She competed in several internal and external moot court competitions. In the Fall of 2022, Hannah participated in the Wrongful Conviction Clinic. In the Spring of 2023, she co-wrote an amicus brief and orally argued before the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals as part of their visiting outreach program. She also was selected to the 2022-2023 Board of Advocates and served as the Director of Internal Trial Advocacy Competitions.

After graduating from law school, Hannah was selected to the Order of the Barristers, a national advocacy honors society.
