Caroline (“Cara”) Lugo joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2022 as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice areas include Civil Litigation and Insurance / Liability Defense. Cara is admitted to practice in Georgia’s State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia.
Cara was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated cum laude from Furman University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November 2018 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, Cara was involved in the International Human Rights Clinic and was recognized for academic achievement on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Prior to joining Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, LLP, Cara was an Honors Fellow and Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General of Georgia.
In her free time, Cara enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
