Daniel (Dan) L. Maisel earned a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The Benjamin Nathan Cardozo School of Law, where he served on the Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. While in law school he interned for the Hon. Harold Ackerman, U.S.D.J. in the 3rd Circuit District Court in Newark, New Jersey. Before entering private practice, Dan served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Julius A. Feinberg, J.S.C. in Essex County and then as an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor.
Dan has litigation experience representing Plaintiffs and Defendant’s in personal injury Civil Litigation. He has extensive experience in Worker’s Compensation cases for petitioners and employers, insurance carriers and self-insured funds in complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, denied claims, occupational injuries, coverage issues, fraud and Appellate work. Amongst adversaries, colleagues and Judges, Dan is considered a skilled litigator and tenacious advocate.
In his private time Dan enjoys playing pickleball with his wife, practicing Wing Chun and kick boxing, watching sports and spending time with his two children.
